Our History

The Women’s Fund was founded in 2008 to address the persistent challenges facing women and their families in the Redding area. The North State area has fewer women college graduates, more teen pregnancy, and higher unemployment and poverty levels than California as a whole. The Women’s Fund supports finding solutions for women struggling to break generational cycles of poverty and underachievement.
